How does the process of working with you begin?

We will talk with you as needed to determine your needs and if our services are a fit for your organization. We will create a proposal based on these discussions. We do not charge for the initial consultation nor for proposal development.

How much do your projects cost?

Every project is designed based on the interests and priorities of the clients. These are customized services. We estimate the number of hours a project will require and apply our hourly rate as well as any expenses. We work with our clients to design processes that are in line with their budgets.

What does a proposal include?

We will restate our understanding of your needs. We will state our experience and expertise so you understand why we think we are a good fit for the help you need. Our proposals always detail our methods with a suggested timeframe and estimates of consulting hours by work product. This gives you, the client, a great of deal of control over how consulting time is spent, enabling you to shift our level of effort if need be.

How does invoicing occur?

We bill clients monthly based on the work we actually do that month. We understand that finding money for consulting fees can be a challenge and provide clients with a lot of transparency and control over how funds are expended.

How do you use technology?

Fio Partners is committed to using technology to increase the quality of our services and reduce expense for our clients. We use the following tools in a variety of ways to bring down the level of effort required to support our projects: online project management, online survey capability, webinars, and online billing.

Do you provide fundraising expertise?

We work with a number of colleagues who offer deep expertise in fundraising, including capital campaigns.
